Sam Colman is passionate about teaching yoga and mindfulness practices to children. She loves the physical, mental, and emotional benefits one can gain from practicing yoga, and is enthusiastic about sharing these benefits with children. Her kid’s yoga classes are a blend of fun, playful movement, yoga games, art, breathing exercises, music, and engaging group discussion. Her intention is to always empower kids to find inner confidence and strength, connection to themselves and to others, and the tools to practice focus and relaxation. Sam completed children’s yoga teacher training certification with Little Flower Yoga. She holds a Masters degree in social work from Boston College and is a licensed social worker with a New Jersey school social worker certification. Her many years of experience working with kids include teaching yoga and mindfulness in NYC schools, teaching at a child enrichment program, as well as a clinician at a residential program, a clinician at a therapeutic alternative day school, a counselor at a public school, and as a summer camp counselor.

Welcome!
